Earl Park

<Gold, or Crack> is a performance work about organic change unfolded from an encounter of a body and a machine in a limited time. The two contrary concepts of ‘universal’ and ‘subjective’ were examined in the relation to “time” and found a possible solution in the notion of “time that does not exist”. It is a process to contemplate the meaning of time and to face the emotions and sensations created through it.
Earl Park has created a freely moving mechanical device that interacts with the performer, which can wind up and unwind a film roll and be activated via Bluetooth.
